This is perfect. Might I suggest doing this workout while watching your favorite 22-minute show (not including commercials)?

60 min run!
5 min warmup
10 min jog at 6.2
40 min random intervals between 6.2 and 7.1
5 min cooldown
So like 5.8 miles in 60 minutes.

5K results!
26:15, 8:27 pace!
I was second in my age group and my roommates were 1st and 3rd and we didn’t stay for the awards! What a bummer! I never place in anything, it was a really small race obviously but still exciting. AND this girl was like racing me and not letting me pass and like running at a diagonal to cut me off the entire time (really? At a 5K?) and I beat her at the end. It was so awesome.
First day of the winter workout challenge.
I’m just tracking my exercise minutes along with like 8 of my other friends. We made a google doc that we can all access to update our minutes and keep a running total. It’s going through December and January. No prize, just glory. I can’t believe I haven’t organized something like this before. I’m hitting up yoga tonight after a 4 month or so hiatus mainly to start off the challenge with a solid 75 minutes. It’s going to be so painful…

I think this is my first running injury in 17 years of running? Really? (Taken with instagram)
